Admission Procedure:

Soon after the declaration of Bachelor results by the University of Peshawar, the admission process takes place, by advertising it in electronic media.The prospectus along with application admission form is available from the directorate of admissions on cash payment on the announced dates.

Eligibility:

Admission is open to candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of the University of Peshawar or any other recognized University, securing at least 45% marks in the aggregate and the subject in which he / she is seeking admission.

Submission of Application Form for Admission:

1. Applications for admission on the prescribed form and complete in all respects, must reach the office of the Director Admissions as per announced date.
2. The candidates selected on merit will be issued an admission form by the Concerned department , to be filled in.
3. A candidate may apply for admission in more than one deptt; on a single form, however, admission will be offered in order of preference and incase applicant qualfies for admission in higher preference, he / she will not be considered for admission in the lower preference even he / she qualifies for it..

Enclosures:

The following documents must be submitted with the completed form:

1. Photocopies of BA/B.Sc Part I & Part II Detailed mark Certificate.
2. Migration Certificate in the case of students who have passed the last qualifying examination from another University of Pakistan.
3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Students applying against quota seat must attached relevant certificates, showing eligibilty of the candidate against the quota for which he/she is applying.

All applications form must be submitted by hand on or before the given last date of submission of application. If any of the particular(s) given in the application for admission are found incorrect or false or fact(s) suppressed, admission shall be denied. If incorrect or false statements(s) or the suppression of facts(s) are detected after a candidate has been granted admission, admission will be cancelled an the students shall be expelled from the University.

Determination of Merit:

Merit for admission will be determined as follow:

1. Weightage to the total marks obtained by the candidate in qualifying examination = 60%
2. Weightage to the marks obtained by the candidate in entry test (where applicable) or the subject concerned = 40%
3. Where the subject concerned is not being taught at graduate level 40% Weightage will be given to the subject of English.

The selected candidates for admission must present thier original documents for scrutiny before the head of institution on the announced date.
